The best beaches in Mallorca are close to azuLine

Enjoying a well deserved holiday in August means enjoying as many beaches as possible. What better place than Mallorca to do it? And as you know, this island is also the birthplace of my fellow AzuLine Hotel Bahamas. They’re sonice that they want me to share with you a list of the best beaches in Mallorca near them. Come on, then!

Calvià and Andratx: the best of the best

My colleagues from azuLine Hotel Bahamas are in S’Arenal, to the east of Palma, very close to the city. Well,  crossing the capital to the west we reach two of the most beachy villages: Calvià and Andratx.

Lovers of calm and quiet and small beaches will find their paradise in Cala Falcó and Cala Mago. Very close to Magaluf, these small beaches wrapped in pine trees will take you away from the summer hustle and bustle. Are you travelling with your family? Then these are your beaches!

Playa ses Dones is also on the list. It is located near Andratx and is in one of the most beautiful parts of Mallorca. Any beach bordering the coast of this municipality will be safe bet.

Those who want to stay closer to Palma have also where to choose from. Cala Comptessa, Son Matias or Cala Fornells are ideal beaches with all possible services. Their proximity to the city makes them especially attractive as a final stop after a day’s outing.

The secret is south of azuLine

My friend, room 302, has collected the best beaches in that area and has jotted them down under “secrets.” She swears that even the Sun shines different and that she’s seen it with her own walls.

You’ll love Cala Blava, Cala Vella and Caló de S’Arena. They are small beaches that have found their space among the rocky cliffs. They are my favorites! And they are also ideal to visit with family for the calm you find in them.

If you venture further south, Llucmajor will bring you other surprises. Cala Pi, Es Trenc, Playa de Ses Covetes and Playa de Sa Rápita have to be compulsory stops. They share the characteristics I mentioned before. Precious each and every one of them!

Mallorca is so special that any of its beaches will delight anyone who visits her. Don’t be alarmed if you see my friend 302 bathing in one of them. As I say: they are ideal for everyone.
