Camí des Correu or Camino del correo
A beautiful, low difficulty route, perfect for children. The route runs along the old medieval path that linked Esporles with Banyalbufar. Eight kilometres of route between forests of holm oaks, with beautiful views of the coast of the Tramuntana, which can be done in just over two hours.
Since you are in the area, it is worth visiting Banyalbufar. The mountains that surround it and the cultivated terraces draw the silhouette of this beautiful town with a unique landscape.
Torrent de Pareis
If you love hiking, you can’t leave Mallorca without having hiked this spectacular route, which follows the Torrent de Pareis gorge to Sa Calobra beach. It was declared a Natural Monumentn 2003.
Its 5 hours duration and the hardness of some of its sections require a good physical condition and knowledge in mountaineering to do it, making it not suitable for everyone.
The orography of the landscape, with vertical walls of 200 meters, the result of thousands of years of erosion of the rock by water, and the technique in its route, make this route the most extraordinary of Mallorca by local mountaineers.
Castle of Alaró
This popular excursion, of average level, consists of climbing to the top of the mountain of the Puig d’Alaró, until you arrive at the ruins of the castle.
Its duration is approximately two hours (depending on the starting point) with unparalleled views and no possibility of getting lost, due to the good signalling of the road.
The arrival to the castle is preceded by some cobblestone steps, which immerse you in another time and prepare you for what you will find at the top.
