The most mythical hippie market in Ibiza opens its doors on April 5
Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to inform you that the oldest, largest, most authentic hippie market on the island of Ibiza reopens, yet another year, on Wednesday, April 5, all the details disclosed at the Ibiza Hippy Market social networks.
Anniversary
We are very nervous and excited, as a new season begins, 44 years of hippy market in Punta Arabí, Es Canar. Nothing more and nothing less, with a long and precious history in which so many beautiful people have taken part throughout the years.
This year we also boast many new features, including the premiere of the new family hotel in Ibiza where it is situated: Club Cala Martina, in the same enclave as the legendary Club Punta Arabí.
Every Wednesday, from April to October included, various activities can be enjoyed at the hippy market. You can get there by bus, car, motorcycle or boat, get information in any tourist office, in our hotels or wherever you are staying.
There are plenty of stalls, for all tastes and pockets, in which you can find from craft objects to other types of souvenirs to give to your loved ones. From hippie flowers for hair decoration to t-shirts, pictures or lotions and soaps.
Different spaces
The market is set up into different spaces like the tent where you can watch a live concert ever midday, dance and enjoy an artisan beer.
One of the things we like most is to be able to have fun in the children’s zone, but there are other things to enjoy as well like taking a photo at the entrance with the mythical Hippy Market poster and uploading it to your social networks, a caricature in the artists Square, dancing with the street musicians or enjoy watching the craftsmen and women work at the street dedicated to them …
Here is a video so you’ll really want to come because you’ll never know Ibiza id you don’t visit the oldest hippy market on the island, which began a long time ago and that today we keep trying to keep alive so the essence it was born with never dies.
