Plans to round off your family holidays in Ibiza

Summer is the perfect time to enjoy Ibiza with the family. I mean what I say, I hardly see the clients that I lodge, they don’t stop! Beaches, aquariums, excursions, water parks … Let’s break it down bit by bit, so I don’t leave anything out.

Ducks to water!

Summer, sun and beach. Kids don’t need anything else to enjoy their holidays. Water and all that has to do with it is an ideal plan for the whole family.

There are quite a few shallow beaches ideal for children. To give some examples: Es Figueral, Cala Martina and Portinatx. These beaches are located in the north of Ibiza, between San Juan and Santa Eulalia. In the municipality of Santa Eulalia there are also some of my sister AzuLine hotels, ideal for families.

I already told you about the picturesque landscapes in this area and everything about our family hotels in another post.

Other water activities are pedal boats, kayak, paddle surf, sailing courses … practically all these activities (and more) are offered on almost all beaches.

And for fresh water lovers, Aguamar, the island’s best-known water park, will be THE water adventure. It is located in Playa de’n Bossa, with easy access and parking.

Plans to round off family holidays

According to the Club Cala Martina’s pool, a family on holidays spends the same number of hours in water as on land.  Bearing in mind how seldom I see my guests I would say she’s right in her calculations.

For that 50% of time on land I also have several recommendations. The boldest  adventurers will visit the Acrobosc in Cala Pada. Pure adventure for the whole family amidst the pine tree-tops. I love it!

Animal lovers have some mandatory plans. On the one hand, seeing how marine species like turtles are recovered  in the Cap Blanc Aquarium (San Antonio). On the other hand, the flamingos in Sant Francesc are an attraction for adults and children alike.

Do you think I’m missing any ideal plan for families? Have you explored other activities? Do you know beaches where waters wet more than others? Let me know in the comments!
